Blogger to WordPress FAQ’s

Here are some basic FAQ’s about transferring a blog from blogger to WordPress, just to help you better understand the process.

Q - Will the move from Blogger to WordPress affect my Google Page Rank?
- Not when it’s done properly – which is how we do it! We will do a 301 permanent redirect to notify bots/crawlers.
- Will I be able to keep my GFC (Google Friend Connect) followers? Or will I lose them all?
A - You will NOT have to lose your followers. We can integrate your current GFC and it’s followers into your new blog. We can also make it so that if they access your blog via your blogspot address it redirects them to your new WordPress site automatically. So they don’t get “lost”.
- Will I lose my current feed subscribers?
A - If you use Feedburner, we can keep your feed address the same, but alter WHERE it gets the feed from, so you will not lose followers there either.
Q - I’ve been using blogger a long time, I just don’t know if I can learn how to use WordPress?
A - I have a blog with Blogger and WordPress, in my opinion, WordPress is a lot more user friendly. It also has a TON of features that are easy to install. It is also very SEO friendly. The transition is very smooth, we would actually handle that for you AND train you on how to use the WordPress dashboard (which isn’t hard, I promise!).
